OUR CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF ENROLMENT POLICIES.
Webskitters Academy offers a Refund Policy, which is fair and equitable.
Upon enrolling in a course with Webskitters Academy a student is entering a legal agreement under common law, in which they agree to abide by the conditions of enrolment (including meeting stated payments), in exchange for the service offered by the institution in the delivery of the course.
Please note, changes in your circumstances are not the responsibility of Webskitters Academy and neither can Webskitters Academy be held liable for changes in your circumstances.
Refund Policy:
Your completed enrolment form acts as confirmation of acceptance, and commitment to, paying all fees as stated on the enrolment form. Enrolments submitted electronically require a confirmation that the student has read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Policy documentation online in order to submit and process the enrolment form. This action provides confirmation in lieu of a signature. In checking the appropriate box, the Student fully accepts Webskitters Academy’s Terms and Conditions.
Students are considered to have commenced their course from the date that course login details have been issued by Webskitters Academy.
Webskitters Academy asks its students to think twice before enrolling. Hence, it upholds strict regulations to be followed for its refund policy.
The student cannot claim any refund, if:
• After enrolling for any course with Webskitters Academy, the student decides to change his/her mind and asks for a refund.
• After enrolment, if the student is not available for the classes, or does not inform the authorities for the reason.
• After enrolment, if the student absconded from five or more consecutive classes.
• The student fails to perform or work on live projects as part of the course.
Cancellation Policy:
Webskitters Academy is responsible to refund the entire amount paid by the student, during admission, in case:
1. The Academy fails to commence the course on the stipulated date or within the agreed period as discussed with the student, during his or her admission. The student can claim their refund from the institute as the institute holds itself to be liable in such a scenario.
Webskitters Academy ensures to provide its students with comprehensive training and job-placement guarantee under the job-oriented courses section. Any placement or refund claim made by students, who have enrolled for courses other than the job-oriented section, will not be taken into consideration.
Webskitters Academy holds all rights to cancel the admission of a student, if he/she is not available for classes for over a period of time, is not answering or returning the calls from the Academy or has not contacted the institute providing any valuable reason(s) for non-availability.
Pause the Course:
At any time during enrolment, the student may apply to defer their studies for a 6 or 12-month period. Such an application must be supported in writing by documentation that explains why they cannot continue their studies for a period of time (e.g., a letter of explanation).
Course Transfer:
Webskitters Academy understands the peer pressure and hence always leaves the doors open for the students to switch their courses. If they have enrolled in a particular one, but fail to find interest in the same, they can switch to a different course. For a period of 30 days following receipt of the material, the Student may apply for special consideration to transfer from one course to another. No refund will be issued for any difference in the course price.
Disclaimer:
Every attempt is made to ensure all information from Webskitters Academy is accurate and that the student has attained the competencies taught in a course, at the point of their assessment. Beyond this point, the student is responsible to maintain their acquired competencies and applying acquired knowledge and skills in a way which is appropriate to the unique characteristics of each application. This will release the institute from any liability, action and claims of whatsoever nature in connection with, or arising from any such information, instruction or advice, given by any student or ex-student, whether directions given during the course are followed or not.
Courses, course notes and materials are not to be sold, loaned, copied, or used in any way outside of the pursuit of studying the course by the person who is enrolled in the course, unless permission is sought and granted in writing by the institute.
